Transport

By Air

Perpignan is the closest airport to Collioure (about 30 minutes’ drive). Alternatively, you can take the train from Perpignan station which takes approximately 25 minutes. Ryanair has daily flights from Stansted which take under two hours. Flybe offers flights from Birmingham and Southampton, but only in high season. Girona is about one hour’s drive along the motorway. Ryanair has four flights daily from Stansted and these flights tend to be cheaper than the flights to Perpignan. The car hire is cheaper in Girona than in Perpignan. Ryanair also fly to Girona from Glasgow, Luton and Dublin. Carcassone and Montpellier are about one hour and thirty minutes’ drive. Again, Ryanair fly to both from Stansted. Toulouse is two hours’ drive. Ryanair has a service to Toulouse from Stansted. British Airways and Easyjet fly from Gatwick. Flybe fly from Southampton, Bristol and Birmingham. Barcelona is two hours’ drive. British Airways flies from Gatwick and Easyjet flies from Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Liverpool and Bristol.

By train

From London Waterloo, there is a daily Eurostar train and a TGV to Perpignan. Then, take the local train from Perpignan to Collioure.

By car

Use the Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais then take the motorway to Perpignan and the dual carriageway to Collioure.
